
2023: Morayo Lebi picks Nomination Form for Ondo South Senatorial District
Ahead of 2023 elections, a legal practitioner, Morayo Lebi has obtained the expression of Interest and Nomination forms to represent the people of Ondo South Senatorial district on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement, Lebi said that Ondo southerners will experience newness in representation, adding that the inexorable journey to the Red Chamber had commenced.
According to the statement, a leader of Ikale Youth Congress, Femi Odimayo stated that the people of the district have found themselves a worthy representative in Lebi.”Thank you to BML for the courage, and congratulations to our people in Ondo South and Nigeria at large”, he said.
Recall that Irele Local Government Area (LGA) was thrown into a state of excitement during Lebi’s declaration to run for office at the local government party Secretariat.
Chief Z.A. Omoge, the party chairman in the LGA expressed happiness that BML, an experienced and loyal servant of the party had come to rescue Ondo South from the clench of the political fainéants currently piloting the affairs of the district.
He appealed to all the LGA and executives across the 10 wards to kindly reward him for his faithfulness and kindness by supporting his ambition.
The youths and women leaders have also assured BML of their unflinching support. They enjoined him to use his wealth of experience as an advocate to bring additional higher institution down to the district after he emerges in 2023.
BML’s agenda include, effective and good representation; good legislation that will be beneficial to the district; using his first constituency allowance to empower the youths and second one for women across Ondo South; fast tracking the linking of Lekki, Lagos directly to Igbokoda.
Others are payment of the district’s debt owed the BEDC (electricity) and putting an end to the current blackout in the district, while also attracting investors to the district to create employment opportunities among others.
While appreciating the good people of Ondo South for the encouragement and confidence in him, he reiterated his purpose for hearkening to their voices. He promised not to disappoint the trust reposed in him.
