The Chairman of Ilaje Local Government, Goke Ijatuwase has been suspended by the councillors.
Ijatuwase was suspended by the councillors for allegedly spending money recklessly without budgetary provision.
He was also suspended for allegedly hobnobbing with the People’s Democratic Party House of Representatives candidate, Kolade Akinjo.
Our correspondent gathered that the council chairman was asked to defend himself but couldn’t give meaningful explanation.
