There was another drama on Saturday at the Presidential rally of the All Progressives Congress APC as some angry members of APC in Ose / Owo local governments prevented Timehin Adelegbe, member of House of Representatives, representing their constituency from entering the venue of the Presidential campaign rally held in Akure, capital of Ondo State.
The House of Representatives member and who is also the candidate of the party,Timehin Adelegbe was alleged of neglecting the people of his constituencies.
One of them and member of the party within the group alleged that ” It is worrisome that the dividends of democracy are far away from us having been neglected by Adelegbe . He behaves as if we are not the one that voted him in 2019.”
In the same vain, another member of APC in Ose local government alleged that the tenure of Adelegbe was a pain rather than a gain to the people of his constituencies.
He said ” When we all agreed to elect him 2019, our thoughts then, was to benefit from the dividends of democracy but we have been shortchanged. It is a pain rather than a gain.”
It was gathered that some leaders of the party waded in and allowed him enter the venue of the campaign rally.
Efforts to get the reactions of the lawmaker were not successful as calls made to him were declined while he did not reply to the SMS and WhatsApp sent to his phone.
