2023: Seven Ilaje Councillors, Five Ward Chairmen follow Ojogo to meet Apoi Delegates 

Barely 24 hours after his resignation as the Commissioner for Information and Orientation of Ondo State, the leading aspirant for Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Donald Ojogo has met with delegates in Apoi , Ese-Odo local government area of the state.

Those who accompanied Ojogo to meet the Apoi delegates included; Councillors Ugbo Ward 3, Ugbo 6, Mahin 1, 3, 4, Aheri and Etikan as well as the Ward Chairmen of Mahin 1, 3, 4, Aheri and Etikan.

Ojogo met with the delegates including Ward Chairmen,  Ward Secretaries, Councillors and local Government Excos.

The APC Secretary, Ese-Odo Local Government,  Barrister Rufus Omotayo who spoke on behalf of the Local Government Exco moved a motion for a meeting of all delegates where Ojogo must be adopted as the candidate for the Party Primary. 

He said:”Now I know Donald Ojogo is very serious in the contest because it takes courage and incommon determination for a man to willingly resign to face a contest. 

“I think we should not allow our sons at waste their resources because we already know where the pendulum is swinging. I therefore urge us all to adopt Donald Ojogo as the pointsman for the race”, Omotayo said.

Others who spoke on behalf of the delegates include; Hon Doye Olajide for Ward Chairmen; Councillor Ward 2 and Deputy Leader of Council on behalf of the Councillors; Timillehin Koledoye on behalf of Ward Secretaries ; Deputy Women Leader on behalf of Women ; Hon Richard Omosehin; and Barrister Akin Sowore on behalf of the leaders present.
