Member, Ondo State House of Assembly, representing Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Constituency, Hon. Nelson Akinsuroju on Monday promised to contribute immensely to the activities of the Students’ Unions in his Constituency.
Akinsuroju made the promise while receiving the leadership of the Student’s Union Government of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji.
The lawmaker also restated his continuous commitment to Students welfarism and development towards achieving a better society.
In a statement made available to Roving Reporters Online, Akinsuroju said, “I had the singular honour of receiving the leadership of the Student’s Union Government of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji.
“The meeting was an opportunity for me to reaffirm my continuous commitment to Students welfarism and to also commend the Student’s Union Government led by Comr. Alalade Abiola (Achiever) for their tremendous contribution to the socio-economic development of Ile-Oluji and for their peaceful coexistence with the indigenes.
“As a one time Student’s Union Leader, I shared in the views of the visiting comrades and I promised to do my part by contributing immensely to the activities of the Student’s Union and the entire Students Populace in Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo constituency.
“I also seized the opportunity to congratulate the incumbent Executive President, Comr. Alalade Abiola (Achiever) for the successful conduct of the Student’s Union Election that produced Comr. Olapade Oladayo Clement (Dee One) who was fortunately among the delegation that visited me. I wished them successful transition and tremendous success in life.”
