
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state on Saturday cast his vote in ward 5, unit 6, ljebu Owo, his home town, lamenting low turnout of Voters.
Akeredolu arrived his polling unit at exactly 10:47am amidst cheers from voters at the unit.
After the initial technical hiccups of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) which lasted for about eight minutes, Governor Akeredolu was accredited at exactly 10:55am and immediately cast his vote.
Addressing newsmen shortly after exercising his franchise, the Akeredolu expressed displeasure over the turn out of voters in the state.
He however expressed hope that other voters will troop out before voting exercise ended.
