Dollar will soon exchange for 10 Naira – Popular Ondo Pastor predicts
A renowned cleric, Samson Oluwamodede, has predicted a “boom” in the nation’s economy, saying the naira would soon regain its strength to the amazement of Nigerians.
Oluwamodede, the General Overseer of the Prayer Centre Church of God (PCCG), said the forces wrestling against the growth of the country which made the economy to plunged into a crisis will soon lose it before next year.
The Akure-based clergyman, stated this, during a Sunday service in Akure, urging Nigerians to pray fervently against ‘calamity’ in the remaining months of the year.
“How much is the dollar now? I learned our naira is now N710 to a dollar. It is that worse but I can tell you that the dollar would soon fall and it would be N10 to one dollar. The holy spirit has revealed this to me. I don’t make false prophesy, note this down.
“You remember I once prophesied that a young lady would bring out the glory of this country through a tournament in sport and that prophecy came to pass. The lady, Amusan (Tobi) is doing us proud now.
“Today, I also want you to mark my words. The dollar will fall and we would have the naira gain its strength. Like a drama, it would be shocking to Nigerians. I repeat again, we shall have (one) dollar as N10 to our currency. Our economy will boom and it would affect all the sectors which would start working again. Children of God, you have to pray tirelessly”, he said.
Oluwamodede revealed that the nation would experience a change from worse to good, particularly in its economy, saying “no one should give up yet on the current state of things in the country.”
He added that a ray of new sunshine would soon rise in the country while advising Nigerians to strengthen their faith and trust in God.
“Nigerians will not live in hunger again. I can see that and even those in power won’t be able to embezzle money. Almost everyone would be comfortable. A time is coming when our children will have jobs to do and earn living for themselves. I see a Nigeria that is working for its citizens”.
The cleric also explained that the Church of God in the country has not failed in its responsibility towards nation building, noting that Nigeria would have been worse off without prayers and contributions from religious faithful across the country.
Nigeria’s currency, Naira depreciated further last week and exchange for N730 to a U.S dollar at the parallel market.
President Muhammad Buhari has consistently be blamed for the poor management of the country’s economy with his regime harsh policies.
