Eid El-fitr: PDP Senatorial Aspirant, Akogun Adetokunbo Felicitates Muslims in Ondo North
An aspirant for the Ondo North Senatorial District under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Akogun Adetokunbo Modupe has felicitated Muslims across the District for the successful completion of Ramadan fasting and the celebration of Eid El-Fitr.
In a message to the people of District, and made available to Roving Reportersby Wale Obanigba,
Head of Media and Public Communications Akogun said the last one month has been a time of fasting, spiritual rejuvenation, renewed faith and love for one another through almsgiving.
He therefore enjoins them not to forget the lessons learnt during the period especially the spiritual principles of Islam, dedication in the pursuit to attain devoutness, of love and compassion as they celebrate.
He said though, this year celebration is coming at a time the country is facing myriad of challenges to wit: insecurity, poverty, frustration and hardships, he urged them to join the collective agenda to rescue Nigeria from the current oppressors.
