Eid-el-Kabir: Ondo EKSU wants Nigerians to show love to Needy, Victims of Insecurity

The Executive Chairman, EKSU Alumni Association, Ondo state Chapter, Chief Kemini Doubra, has felicitated Muslim faithfuls on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

In a statement signed by Omoniyi Akinrogunde, Publicly Secretary of the association, Chief Doubra enjoined Muslims to emulate the virtues of Prophet Ibrahim by allowing their lives to showcase love and compassion.

According to Chief Doubra: ”as we celebrate this joyous season, let it be a time for reflection, wherein we express love to the needy,  promote peace in our country and tolerate one another irrespective of political, ethnic or religious differences.

”We sympathize with the families undergoing pains and bereavement as their loved ones have fallen victims of the daily occurrence of kidnapping, banditry and terrorism perpetrated by criminal elements across the length and breadth of the country. Let us remember them in our prayers.

”We pray Almighty Allah gant our leaders the wisdom to administer the country and overcome the multiple challenges bedevilling Our Nation.

“We pray for national solidarity, especially as the 2023 General Elections gather momentum and we anticipate a peaceful transition.

”May the Peace of Almighty Allah be with you and your household.”
