How Oka Akoko Bastards attacked us – Adegbodu Twins
Gospel musicians, Adegbodu Twins have claired the air over the comments earlier posted on social media following the attack by suspected hoodlums in Oka Akoko, ondo state.
It was gathered that the musicians who went to Oka Akoko to perform at a burial ceremony were attacked by hoodlums following the musicians’ refusal to settle some thugs.
Adegbodu Twins later went to their Facebook page to condemn the attack.
The post reads: “Dear colleagues please beware of that town Ọkà àkókò Ondo State 😡💔😭⚠️
“Òkà àkókó ondo state home of deadly thugs, touts and hoodlums. They fear no security personnel even though army…..
“We will never go there again!….
“You can be anything but don’t be ungrateful….
“Lord we are grateful for saving us yesterday from Òkà Àkókó thugs oo , Emi mimo ese o 🙏🙏🙏”
Their comments however generated mixed reactions and condemnation by those who saw the comments as an insult to the community.
The musician on Tuesday again took to their Facebook to drop a video clearing the air over the first post.
They said: “ Many eminent natives from Oka Akoko have been calling us on the attack and we are very happy for such.
“Please we want to make it clear that many sons and daughters of Oka Akoko are peace makers.
“But there is now how we will not see some Judas Iscariots. There are still some bastards from Oka Akoko. They are the ones causing problems in the community. They are the ones putting fears into the minds of visitors.
“We have spoken with the Kabiesi that we posted that comment in anger and because of our experience. It was worst to the extent that they were threatening that they could kill anyone and implicate us.
“We however apologise for everyone that got annoyed with our earlier post. We thank God that some investigation had been carried out and those behind the attack had been identified.
“To all our colleagues,it is not all Oka Akoko natives are bad. There are good people from Oka Akoko, just that the bastards in the community that are troublesome.”
