History was made in grand style on Friday as the Iralepo of Isikan, Oba Oluwagbemiga Ojo installed Olumuyiwa Akin Aguda as the Olu of Kajola community in Ondo state.
Family, friends as well as well wishers were overwhelmed with joy and all dressed in beautiful attire converged on the palace of the Iralepo of Isinkan Oba Oluwagbemiga Ojo to witnessed the historic moment which was laced with glamour and display of Culture and Tradition of the community.
Speaking newsmen, shortly after his installation as the Olu of Kajola, Oba Olumuyiwa Akin Aguda appreciated the honour done him by God through the Iralepo of Isikan, Oba Oluwagbemiga Ojo to serve the community.
Oba Aguda promised to serve with all his strength for the development of Isikan land and would not disappoint the monarch and the people.
Oba Aguda,a former Banker and a businessman said he would use his wealth of expirence to attract meaningful development to Kajola community and promote peaceful coexistence among the people.
The new monarch also pledged to team up with Oba Oluwagbemiga Ojo in transforming Isinkan and it’s environs, impact lives and hasten speedy development that would transform the lives saying it is a new dawn for the people.
Earlier in his welcome speech, the Iralepo of Isinkan Oba Oluwagbemiga Ojo appreciated the unity and love among the people since his emergence and charged people of Isinkan to at all time love in peace with thier neighboring community.
Oba Ojo on his part promised to continue with the good legacy of his forefathers in developing the people through various empowerment programs such as support funds for natives of Isinkan to get education and also funds to support widows.
Eminent personalities who graced the occasion included the Oba Ajibola Oluyede the Alayade of Ogbese ,former Ondo state President of the customary court, Justice Folashade Aguda -Taiwo, Mr Adekunle Ajanaku among others.
