The Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu, has called on Christians in the State to use the Easter season to reverently review God’s purpose of redemption and promise of eternal life.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Akure, Princess Odu posited that the season brings to bear the most significant aspect of Christianity and the foundation that validates the Christian faith.
“The Easter period affirms the Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, we must keep spreading the word”.
Speaking further, the State Scribe urged the good People of Ondo State to imbibe the spirit of humility which Jesus demonstrated while on earth.
While calling for sober reflection of all during the season, Odu implored Christians to celebrate in moderation and uphold peace.
