Though there was yet an official statement from the family or his church, a source close to the family told Roving Reporters Online on Sunday that the actor and music/choir director of Seventh Day Adventist, Yaba church in lagos died of liver failure, complication from liver disease at Babcock Teaching Hospital, Ilishan Remo, Ogun state.
Aged 66, the Nollywood actor was popularly known as Taiwo Ogunrombi at the Seventh day Adventist church.
Before his death, he was the leader of a singing group called ‘The Ambassadors.’
The Ambassadors group took the format of an age long Seventh Day Adventist church group in America, known as The Heralds.
Mr. Femi Ogunrombi took over the character, Papa Ajasco when the former character, Abiodun Ayoyinka pulled out of the show and he carried on with the role while it lasted.
